General about Psychofit

Psychofit aims to improve subjective well-being. In other words: helping people feel better. Since we are convinced that well-being starts in the mind, our psychological counseling focuses exactly there. Unlike psychotherapy, we do not diagnose or treat acute mental disorders. Instead, we help prevent psychological crises before they escalate. With support from our counselors, you learn to handle everyday challenges with evidence-based methods and strengthen your resilience.

In a 10-minute introductory call, we answer your questions about our service, check whether our counseling is a good fit, and then match you with a suitable counselor. The call is free and non-binding. It is not a full counseling session. You can book it on our Get-Started page.

Scientific quality comes first for us. All counselors have at least a university degree in psychology (B.Sc.) and work with current psychological methods. In addition, they are continuously supervised by licensed psychotherapists. This ensures efficient, goal-oriented counseling with sustainable outcomes. At the same time, our approach is personal: your goals, pace, and counseling frequency are individualized.

Pricing & Fit Guarantee

The first counseling session (50 min.) costs €25. Each additional session costs €49 (50 min.). With our session packages you can save up to 27 % on additional sessions — from just €35.90 per session. Students with a valid student ID receive a €24 discount, so each session is €25. Your first paid session includes our Fit Guarantee: if you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund of €25 within 24 hours.

Currently, our offer is self-pay only. Public and private health insurers do not reimburse these costs at this time.

Yes! After your first session, you can purchase a session package via your personal booking link and save up to 27%: the 5-session package costs €39.80 per session (total €199), and the 10-session package just €35.90 per session (total €359). Packages are valid for 3 years, can be canceled at any time, and used sessions are billed at the regular rate (€49) with the difference refunded. Students with a valid student ID receive a separate discount — each session is only €25.

If you are currently enrolled at a university, you can apply for the student discount directly in your client portal under Settings. Simply upload your current enrollment certificate. Our team will review your document and you will receive a discount code for your next booking. Each session then costs only €25 instead of €49. The proof must be renewed each semester.

You can pay via credit card, SEPA direct debit, and PayPal. Stripe may also show additional options like Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices.

Not satisfied with your first counseling session? You can request a full refund of €25 within 24 hours via our online refund form. The Fit Guarantee only applies to the first paid session and does not limit your legal right of withdrawal.

Within 24 hours after your first session, open our refund form and enter the email address used for booking. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your request. Briefly tell us what did not work for you. One sentence is enough. Refunds are processed within 14 days to the original payment method (card or PayPal).

Booking appointments

After your first booking, you receive a confirmation email with a personal booking link that you can use anytime to book follow-up sessions with your counselor. If you have a package, sessions are deducted directly from the package with no additional payment step. You can also log in to the client portal and choose "Book another session".

You can cancel booked appointments free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Log in to your client portal and click "Cancel" on the booking. You also find a direct cancel link in your booking confirmation email. For short-notice cancellations, please contact kontakt@psychofit.de.

Yes. You can reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. In the client portal, each booking has a "Reschedule" option where you can choose a new slot. The original appointment is canceled automatically.

Yes. Shortly after each session, you receive an email with a short feedback survey (1-2 minutes). Your feedback helps us improve quality continuously. Participation is voluntary. Responses are handled confidentially; your counselor only sees anonymized aggregate values.

Session notes are an optional feature that you can activate in the client portal under "Notes". Your counselor can then add session notes, and you can add your own reflections. All notes are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. You can revoke consent at any time; all notes visible to you and your reflections will then be deleted.

If you consented to email notifications during booking, you automatically receive reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before your appointment. You can change this setting anytime in your client portal under "Settings".

Counseling & Satisfaction

Your very first paid session is covered by our First Session Fit Guarantee: within 24 hours, you can request a full €25 refund using our online refund form. After that, you can switch to another counselor.

Yes, switching is possible at any time. Just email kontakt@psychofit.de and tell us briefly what you are looking for in a new counselor. We will find a suitable match for you.

We are happy if you share your experience. On our Trustpilot profile, you can leave a review and help others evaluate our service. Reviews are voluntary and can also be anonymous.

Yes, and it is worth it. If you refer Psychofit to friends, family, or colleagues and the referred person completes their first session, you receive a €25 voucher. See all details on our referral page.

The client portal is available at psychofit.de/en/kunden/login. After your first booking, you automatically receive a welcome email with a link to set your password. Your login is the email address used during booking.

Emergencies & Crises

If you are in an acute crisis or emergency, please contact emergency services immediately. In Germany, you can call 0800 111 0 111 or 0800 111 0 222 (24/7, free of charge). If there is a risk of harming yourself or others, call 112 immediately.

No. Our offer is for adults (18+) only. For children and adolescents, we recommend krisenchat.de, a free and anonymous 24/7 chat service for young people up to age 25.
